| JIM ROSS Hello everybody, and welcome to Smash! III. Please allow me to introduce my partner, a living legend, Jerry "The King" Lawler!
JERRY LAWLER Thank you, JR! Tonight, to start off the show, Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk will have a match to determine who will face Chris Jericho for the vacant EEW Xtreme Championship!
JIM ROSS What a perfect way to start off the show!
===============================================================
Justin Roberts:Ladies and gentlemen please welcome back CMMMM PUUUUUNK
Punk is welcomed with a mixed reaction as he walks down to the beginning of the ramp and sits down
Punk:"Ladies and gentlemen I have returned to eew fromm one week of departure.I can assure all of you that I will be here for a very long time."
Punk gets a mixed reaction but leaning more to cheers
Punk:"Now I know that I still haven't won a single match yet but that was then and this now Ziggler you better watch your back cause I'm out to get you."
Punk stands up and takes a look out at the fans,drops the mic,and walks out
======================================================
The bell rings, signifying the announcement of a match.
CM Punk's music plays, and he emerges from backstage with still a mixed reaction from the crowd.
JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, this match is scheduled for one fall. Approaching the ring... from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 223 pounds, C... M... Punk!
The crowd is leaning more towards cheers now as CM Punk enters the ring and Punk crosses his arms, representing his straight-edge lifestyle. The audience begins to boo now as Dolph Ziggler's music hits the speakers.
JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent, from Hollywood, Florida... weighing in at 223 pounds – DOLPH ZIGGLER!
Jim Ross: Well, CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler are certainly very similar in the size category, but that doesn't always matter. Who do you think will win this one, King?
Jerry Lawler: It's hard to say, they're both very talented men.
The referee steps out of the way as Punk locks Dolph into a headlock. He holds it in tight, but Ziggler begins raining down punches to CM Punk's gut and he breaks up the hold. Ziggler hit a superkick, grabbed CM Punk and hit a powerslam, keeping the hold in for a pin.
The ref fell to the ground and went to slap his hand against the canvas. 1... KICKOUT!
Jim Ross: And Punk managed to get out of that one in no time at all!
Dolph Ziggler began to lift up CM Punk, but Punk quickly kicked Ziggler in the head. He hit a reverse STO, then locked his legs around Ziggler's head and transitioned into a koji clutch.
Jerry Lawler: Ziggler is gonna have a tough time getting out of this one! Many men have tapped to this hold. Jim Ross: I'm sure, it certainly looks painful!
The referee dropped to the mat so he could get a better look at Ziggler's hand. Dolph struggled towards the ropes, clutching his fist in agony. He slapped his palm against the canvas one time, but changed his mind. He desperately crawled towards the ropes, gasping for breath, as he finally managed to grab the bottom rope. CM Punk held the hold in for a few seconds after the rope break, but he broke it up before 5 to avoid disqualification.
The crowd began to chant Punk's name as he lifted Dolph Ziggler up from the ground and quickly knocked him to the ground again with a step-up enzuigiri. He exited the ring, then climbed up to the top rope and slowly waited for Dolph Ziggler to get up. He did, but Ziggler saw Punk coming down with a crossbody and quickly grabbed him. He dropped him on his knees for a gutbuster, then crawled over for a pin. 1... 2... KICKOUT!
Jim Ross: I can't believe Punk managed to kick out of that one! Jerry Lawler: Yeah! That gutbuster looked devastating.
Dolph lifted Punk up and grabbed him by the head to go for a Zig Zag, but Punk wouldn't budge. Ziggler desperately attempted to pull him down to the ground, but Punk hit him in the nose with a back elbow. As Ziggler clutched his face in agony, Punk pulled him over his shoulders. He dropped him off, then hit him with a huge knee to the head, successfully performing a GTS, then finishing it with a pin. 1... 2... 3!
The crowd erupted in cheers as the ref shouted 'three' then raised CM Punk's arm in victory.
JUSTIN ROBERTS Here is your winner, by the way of pinfall! CM PUNK!
=====================================================================================
JIM ROSS Wow, that was a great match!
JERRY LAWLER I agree. And now CM Punk is the #1 contender for the EEW Xtreme Championship!
JIM ROSS Well, after seeing that one, I think he definitely deserves that match. But well see who will turn out champion when he fights Chris Jericho next Smash!... anyways, enough of the future, let's talk about the present! It's time for Randy Orton and Chris Jericho's match!
=====================================================================================
The crowd loudly booed as a countdown begins on the titanTRON and Chris Jericho's music hits. Chris Jericho smirked and just brushed it off as he entered the ring.
JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, this match is set for one fall. Approaching the ring, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Weighing in at 226 pounds, CHRIS JERICHO!
Finally, the booing had died down and the crowd began to cheer, for it was time for Randy Orton's entrance. He grinned at the enthusiastic crowd, obviously favoring him more than Jericho.
JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent, from St. Louis, Missouri. Weighing in at 245 pounds – RANDY ORTON!
Jim Ross: Well, it's already obvious that the crowd prefers Randy Orton, but that doesn't always determine the winner. Jerry Lawler: Hey, you never know. The crowd can really motivate you if they're on your side.
The bell rang, and Jericho and Orton quickly locked up in a collar and elbow. Orton gained the upper hand and hit a European uppercut, then irish whipped Chris into the ropes. He hit a snap powerslam, then pinned Y2J. 1... KICKOUT!
Jim Ross: And that was not even close to 3!
Randy Orton began to lift Chris Jericho up, but Jericho quickly grabbed Orton's arm and twisted it over his head. He held in the arm wrench, then kicked Orton near the shoulder. Orton held his arm in pain as Chris Jericho grabbed him and hit a northern lights suplex, bridging for a pin. 1... 2... KICKOUT!
Chris Jericho sat up, frustrated. Orton rolled over and out of the ring to regain stamina, and Jericho quickly rebounded off the ropes. With Randy distracted, Chris Jericho knocked him down to the ground with a plancha. The referee began to count as they both lay on the ground.
1... 2... 3...
Chris Jericho slowly began to stand up. He grabbed Orton by the legs, then fell back, catapulting him face-first into the steel steps.
Jim Ross: By god! That must've broken his nose! What a brutal move! Jerry Lawler: That's gonna get Jericho the win for sure.
Y2J slid back into the ring as Orton held his face and head in pain. Jericho taunted as the referee continued to count.
4... 5... 6... 7...
Randy Orton slowly began to stand up, but he wasn't fast enough.
8... 9... 10!
The ref got to 10 just as Randy managed to get to his feet. The bell rang, and the referee raised Chris Jericho's arm victoriously.
JUSTIN ROBERTS Here is your winner, by way of count out! CHRIS JERICHO!
=====================================================================================
JIM ROSS It looks like Orton just wasn't fast enough!
JERRY LAWLER I don't blame him. After that brutal move into the steel steps, I don't think I'd be able to get back in the ring in time either!
JIM ROSS Oh well, it's over now, and it's time for our main event. Up next, Phillip Phillips and his rival, Zeke Nero, will be teaming up against The Miz and Tyson Kidd in a tag team match! _________________ 'Cause that's how I roll! |

| The familiar Union Underground song blasted through the speakers of the arena. The crowd cheered as Phillip Phillips walked out in his usual wrestling gear, the EEW Championship slung over his shoulder. He climbed into the ring, but, before speaking, held his championship high in the air for everyone to see.
Jim Ross: And here comes our new and first ever EEW Champion, Phillip Phillips!
Jerry Lawler: I guess he was right in that interview of yours, huh?
Phillip asked for a microphone and was handed one by an EEW employee. He returned to the center of the ring, grinning as he began to speak.
PHILLIP PHILLIPS Greeting, EEW fans, from your new and first ever champion!
He paused for a moment, soaking in the encouragement from the crowd's loud cheers and chants.
PHILLIP PHILLIPS As you can clearly tell, I am the current, and first ever EEW Champion!
More cheers erupted from the enthusiastic crowd as Phillip raised his title once again.
PHILLIP PHILLIPS And we all know I deserve to be champion... much more than Zeke Nero. Heck, I'm the single man on the roster that deserves any championship in this company, and you guys know it. I have this championship to prove it. So, if anyone is stupid enough to decide to get in my way, there will be severe consequences... and I'm not bluffing.
The crowd continued to chant his name as Phillip dropped the microphone, exited the ring, and continued up the ramp.
Jim Ross: And another impactful statement from Phillip! Jerry Lawler: Wow, this man is golden on the mic! Jim Ross: Well, the crowd certainly seems to agree.
===============================================================
*P2 scrambles back to the ring as Nero makes his way towards him*
Zeke Nero So P2 you think your the champ huh. Just because you have that belt doesn't mean anything but to spare you and your dignity I guess I can come to a compromise cause we have to be in a tag team match. But just beacause your my partner doen't mean I trust you and that shouldn't mean you should trust me cause you know me I'm the opprotunist the one who will do anything to make sure that the current champ isn't going to be able to defend ever again
*With That said Nero attempts the Nitak Hashi and connects*
Jim Ross OH God P2 has just been leveld by that move
Jerry Lawler Well Like he said Nero is going to make sure P2 can't defend even though they are partners
=====================================================================================
The ref begins to help Phillip up as Zeke stands in his corner. The music of The Miz hits, and he walks down the ramp with a smirk plastered on his face. The crowd boos as he climbs into the ring and taunts, then goes to his corner (a safe distance from Zeke) and waits for his tag team partner to enter.
JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, this tag team match is scheduled for one fall. Approaching the ring... from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 231 pounds, THE MIZ!
Tyson Kidd's music hit, and the crowd responded with a mixed reaction. He walked down thte ramp then climbed into the ring, staring down Zeke Nero.
JUSTIN ROBERTS And his partner, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada... weighing in at 199 pounds – TYSON KIDD!
The ref called for the bell as Kidd and Nero locked up into a collar and elbow. Kidd quickly took the upper hand and roundhouse kicked Nero in the side of the head. Zeke began to fall down, and Tyson Kidd exited the ring, standing on the ring apron near his corner. He jumped over the rope and hit Nero with a leg drop, then tagged in his partner. The Miz wasted no time, and quickly picked Nero up before he could hit Phillip's outstretched hand. He grabbed him in a headlock, about to go for a suplex, but Nero wouldn't let The Miz pick him up. He countered it into a back suplex, then quickly tagged in Phillip.
As The Miz began to stand up, he quickly ran at him with a spear. He leg dropped Miz right to the neck, then locked him in headscissors and yanked on his arm in a triangle choke. He locked the hold in tight, but Tyson Kidd quickly bounced off the ropes and hit another springboard leg drop, breaking the hold. As the ref yelled at Kidd, The Miz hit Phillip with an illegal low blow, then hit a snap DDT. He pinned just as the ref turned around. 1... 2... KICKOUT!
Jim Ross: And Phillip just barely managed to kick out after that illegal move by The Miz! Jerry Lawler: Come on, ref! Pay attention!
The Miz tagged Tyson Kidd in as Phillip slowly began to stand up. Kidd pulled him up to his feet, but Phillip nailed him in the gut with a flurry of punches. Phillip hit a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, then lifted Kidd over his shoulders and hit an Air Raid Siren. Phillip climbed up to the top rope, then flipped around for a Crash & Burn. He hit it perfectly, and went for a pin
Jim Ross: This one's over! Jerry Lawler: Yeah, if The Miz doesn't go and distract the referee again.
As the referee began to count the pin, The Miz stepped over the rope and began to ran towards Phillip and Kidd. Nero saw Miz coming and quickly bounced off the ropes, flying across the ring for a stunning springboard clothesline. 1... 2... 3!
The ref called for the bell as Zeke Nero stood up from the move. The ref raised Phillip's arm in victory, but Nero ran towards him and hit a Ninak Hashi, sending Phillip crashing to the ground.
JUSTIN ROBERTS Here are your winners, by way of pinfall! ZEKE NERO and PHILLIP PHILLIPS!
The crowd booed as Zeke Nero grinned a mischievous smile as the ref helped up Phillip. The show faded to black as Zeke Nero exited the arena. _________________ 'Cause that's how I roll! |
